Welcome to the Middle East Library Partnership Project.
The aim of this project is to better understand opportunities for and obstacles to collaborations between libraries and cultural institutions in Middle East nations and the United States.
The project ran from July 2014 to July 2015 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was generously funded through a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation under the Scholarly Communications and Information Technology Program.
The Middle East Library Partnership Project seeks to make draw on experience and expertise from several different academic units at UNC-Chapel Hill as well as a number of global library and information science organizations. For a full list of personnel and advisors, please see the “People” page.
